My White Whale

In Meville's classic "Moby Dick", the white whale symbolizes something we can not conquer but still strive to gain control of. This blog is dedicated to trying to understand human nature, and life in general.

The mystery of life is the biggest white whale there is.

DeadDayGal: MY MEMORY HAS COMPLETELY FAILED ME. I FORGOT ONE OF MY FAVORITE SONGS PLEASE HELP

deaddaygal:

SOMEONE HELP ME I’M GOING INSANE!!
I keep trying to find a song that i really love…
however I forgot the title, artist, and all of the lyrics.
I know it is along the same lines as the Talking Heads…sorta
it’s either late 70’s or 80’s,
slower sort of,
might have either a “P” or the word…

nvm, it was “love my way” by the Psychedelic Furs

This was recorded by the Portsmouth Sinfonia in an experiment where all the members of the orchestra would swap instruments with each other and attempt to play them to the best of their ability.

This is the result. And it makes me laugh every single time.

This is so amazing, I just can’t stand it
